South West Rock Marks
Site Title

Bolberry Down
Devon
There are few different marks accessable at Bolberry although most of these require the use of a rope for safety, I would advise if it is your first trip here to fish with someone who is familiar with the area.
Large Blonde & Small Eyed Ray are caught here each year some nights multiple catches of Ray are possible.
Tackle
Stiff action rods with a bit of back bone capable of moving large fish of the bottomare required. Reels such as the Daiwa Saltist loaded with 18-20lb mainline & 60lb leader will suffice.
Pulley or drop down pulley rigs are perfect for this venue, leads should ideally be 5-6oz either plain or grip weights.
Bait
Sand eels live or frozen, the bigger the better (Ammo Blue or XL).
